Meet Doak

Doak Cheatham is an Associate Wealth Advisor at Silverhawk Private Wealth, helping high-net-worth and high-income families protect and grow what they’ve built.

He spent 16 years in the mortgage industry, most recently as a Senior Loan Officer at National Bank of Arizona, before moving into wealth advisory in 2025. That background in real estate and structured financing still shapes his work: Doak holds an active mortgage license through Nexa Lending and brings lending strategy directly into long-term wealth planning. Doak holds a Series 7, 65, 63, and Life/Health Insurance Licenses.

His approach centers on diversification. Doak also draws on a network of CPAs, estate attorneys, and business attorneys, and works with lower middle-market business owners on exit planning, from stronger management teams to more wealth built outside the business before a sale.

Doak holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Arizona. He lives in Scottsdale with his wife Lindsay and their three kids, Janie, Charlie, and Walker, and is a member at Troon Country Club, where you’ll also find him on the golf course. Doak also has a BBQ Company called Smokin Doak’s and does catering for small parties.
