TED DOUGLAS, PRINCIPAL, CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER, PIONEER ADVISORS, LLC
Theodore (Ted) S. Douglas began his Wall Street career in 1989 employed by Banker's Trust Co. He went on to participate in trading U.S. Treasury fixed income securities, corporate bonds, foreign exchange, interest rate and credit derivatives, ADRs and municipal bonds. In 1995, Mr. Douglas joined State Street Corporation where he managed a $2.3 billion credit portfolio and provided portfolio management for the Bank's $1.5 billion municipal tender option bond portfolio. In 2003, Ted left State Street to join his former client Koch Industries Inc. -the largest privately held U.S. company. During his career at Koch, Ted started an asset management business, developed a structured products business, built fixed income securities trading desks in both New York City and Scottsdale, Arizona and helped form a $30 billion off shore-based investment/insurance business. Prior to leaving Koch in September of 2008, Mr. Douglas was President and Chief Investment Officer of Koch Global Capital; he also directly managed two portfolios aggregating approximately $7.7 billion. Ted served as a Board Member to Koch Financial Re, Koch Financial Products, and Koch Global Capital. Ted has a B.S. in Economics and Finance from Farleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.
